We Are Not Eaten by Yaks (Accidental Adventure Series)
6/16/12 ** I wasn't impressed. I suppose, I have to say off the bat that I don't like the notion of glorifying TV shows, even though I know that's a spoof. Second, much of the book consists of telling me what's going on, not showing me. The book could have been much shorter and more exciting if the drama and adventure had been conveyed through action, not description.That being said, I'm guessing that there will be some kids who enjoy the wise-cracks and outlandish things that happen to the kids while they try to save their mother and find the lost library of Alexandria (or whatever she was searching for - I've already taken the book back to school and can't refresh my memory.)
