Carmen has a scab and is dying to scratch it, but everyone around tells her NOT to scratch it - it might bleed and sharks might come, it might get infected, etc. There's a great twist at the end with a boy who burps - go read to find out why he's licking his lips. (You might find it gross, but your elementary and pre-school kids will LOVE it!)The energetic illustrations fit this story perfectly.
